MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2012) and MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) On this motherboard the pads located on the left side for the AirPort board. Here's a close up picture. Kuo reckons this tech will launch in the 14.1-inch MacBook Pro and a refreshed MacBook Pro 16, as well as a 27-inch ‌iMac Pro‌, a 12.9-inch ‌iPad Pro‌, a 10.2-inch ‌iPad‌, and a 7.9. Recently switched from good-old (meaning: 'good, but old') ThinkPad T60 to MacBook Pro Retina 15'. I have to use both MacOS and Windows for different work scenarios. So my current setup is: Windows 7 under Parallels VM inside MacOS X. And under Windows I reinstalled 'my precious' HyperSnap. The Macbook Pro 13' Retina is an awesome machine. The solid state drive makes powering up and opening apps super fast. I bought this to edit video content as my old computer couldn't handle the larger file sizes that all our cameras produce nowadays. 128 GB isn't a lot of memory, but with the aid of a USB 3.0 capable external hard drive, I'm able to handle and store all the large video files. The MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro (the one with the optical drive) were the only holdouts - though it looks like the 13-inch MacBook Air is sticking around for now. Now, Retina is the new.

Skype for iPad got a Retina update this morning, meaning its icons and menus will not show pixelated fonts that will harm your new iPad Retina sensibilities. Unfortunately, the new iPad's front-facing camera is still VGA, and we are pretty sure Skype is not pulling 2048-by-1500 pixel video feeds though your LTE connection just yet.

Still, it is exciting to see Skype updating for anything within months of release.
